Your exciting safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up at 08:00 AM from your hotel in Arusha
(or Moshi, if that's your starting point). From here, you’ll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park,
known for its vast landscapes and incredible wildlife.
Upon arrival, you’ll begin your game drive through the park, which is dominated by golden savannahs surrounding the Tarangire River.
The river is a vital water source for the park’s diverse fauna, and it’s especially captivating during the dry season when many animals congregate
along its banks. Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant population, with herds of up to 300 elephants often spotted, making it
one of the best places to see these majestic creatures.
As you explore the park, you'll also encounter other wildlife, including lions, leopards, cape buffalo,
and a wide variety of antelopes. For those fortunate enough, you may catch a glimpse of the endangered Greater Kudu or
the Fringe-Eared Oryx, two rare species that call the park home.
A picnic lunch by the river is a perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. However, be on the lookout for
the mischievous monkeys that might try to snatch your lunch while you’re distracted!
After a day filled with game viewing and unforgettable wildlife encounters, you’ll head to your chosen accommodation for a well-deserved rest.
After breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through lush, fertile uplands where crops such as wheat,
corn, and coffee thrive. As you journey toward the Serengeti, you'll begin to understand why the name "Serengeti" originates from
the Masai word “Siringitu,” meaning “endless plains.” The vast savannah stretches endlessly to the horizon, offering a breathtaking
view of what seems like a never-ending landscape.
Upon arrival in Serengeti and after a delicious lunch, we’ll embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. As we explore the park,
you'll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, rhinos, buffalo, zebras,
wildebeests, lions, giraffes, elephants, and hippos, among many others. Our game drive will continue until
sunset, giving you plenty of time to take in the spectacular sights of the Serengeti.
After breakfast, we embark on a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park, enjoying the diverse wildlife and stunning
landscapes before we depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, we’ll stop for a relaxing picnic lunch.
The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "8th Wonder of the World," is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth.
This incredible natural wonder is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and an International Biosphere Reserve. Its fertile slopes and steep,
forested walls are home to a variety of wildlife, including around 30,000 animals, with a notable population of the rare black rhino.
The crater’s 260 square kilometers of diverse ecosystems support Cape buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, zebras,
eland, gazelles, hippos, and numerous bird species. The area is also known for its high concentration of predators,
making for thrilling wildlife encounters.
After a day filled with exploration and adventure, we conclude with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.
After breakfast around 07:00 AM, we depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, we will descend into the crater, which is home to
over 25,000 animals.
The Ngorongoro landscape is truly breathtaking, with the sun glistening off Lake Magadi, the sheer size of the caldera, and the ever-changing
shadows cast across the caldera floor. This picturesque setting creates a stunning backdrop for your safari experience.
The game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater will last approximately 5 hours, during which you’ll have the chance to see an incredible
variety of wildlife, including lions, zebras, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes,
wildebeests, flamingos, hippos, and many more.
In the afternoon, we’ll stop for a delicious late lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by the beauty of the landscape. Afterward, with your
mind full of unforgettable memories, we’ll begin the journey back to Arusha or Moshi.
